I spent Sunday at the Big London Tattoo Show, and even though I could only make one day, it was absolutely electric. I’ve been going as a customer for years — tattoos are a real passion of mine, and I’m pretty covered myself — but walking in with my camera this time felt completely different. It was like stepping into a world I already loved, but seeing it through a new lens.

I arrived early, camera charged, heart buzzing, and did a few loops around the venue just taking it all in. Everywhere I turned there were insanely talented artists, buzzing machines, and people showing off the most incredible ink. The stalls were packed with everything from taxidermy curiosities to gothic homeware to clothing that made you stop and stare. And the funfair vibes? Unreal. Retro pinball machines, free waltzers, bumper cars — it felt like a tattoo convention crossed with a carnival.

The bike show was another highlight, with BMX riders and motorbikes bringing the noise and adrenaline. You can check them out at  @extremebikebattle — they absolutely owned the space.

But the moment I’d been waiting for?

The Fuel Girls.

A group of fierce, fire‑wielding performers who always put on a jaw‑dropping show. I’ve wanted to photograph them for ages, so finally getting the chance felt like ticking off a bucket‑list moment. Their performance was wild, powerful, and hypnotic — flames, attitude, and pure confidence. After the show they even posed for me, which honestly made my whole day. You can find them at  @thefuelgirls.

If you’re into tattoos, performance art, bikes, alternative culture, or just want a day that feels like stepping into a living, breathing art piece, this show delivers every time.
