I went to Comic Con today — my first time going as a photographer — and it felt completely different from when I took my son years ago during his superhero phase. Back then it was packed, chaotic, and honestly a bit overwhelming with a little one.
But this time? I went with my friend Mimi, my camera, and zero stress… and I absolutely loved it.
The moment we walked in, the whole place was buzzing. So many people dressed up in incredible cosplay — armour, wings, capes, glitter, full transformations — and every single person was friendly, excited, and more than happy to pose for me. It felt like stepping into a living comic book.
I took so many photos. It’s such a fun way to network, meet new people, and connect with other creatives. I’ve officially made it my mission to go to every single Comic Con from now on — and luckily they host it twice a year at the London ExCeL Centre.
