Gina booked me for a shoot at Colchester Castle Park, and even though the day was chilly, the sunlight was absolutely gorgeous - that soft, golden kind that makes everything feel a little magical. I brought along one of my dresses, and Gina brought one of her own, so we had a couple of looks to play with.

I wanted to practice some wedding-style shots, and this was the perfect chance to experiment with posing, light, and movement. Gina was brilliant - natural, elegant, and completely unfazed by the cold. The way the light wrapped around her made the photos feel dreamy and effortless.

When I looked back at the images, I felt genuinely proud. They had that soft, romantic glow I’m always chasing, and I think I captured Gina beautifully.

I know I’ve still got a long way to go before I become the wedding photographer I want to be, but practicing like this is honestly so much fun - every shoot feels like another step forward.
