Jennifer reached out because she wanted to try modelling, and I loved her enthusiasm straight away. We chatted through a few ideas and decided to meet at Clacton-on-Sea beach - one of my favourite spots for soft light and open space. I packed a selection of dresses from my wardrobe so she could play around with different looks.
It was definitely on the chilly side, but the sun was shining and Jennifer absolutely braved it. She posed so naturally, easing into it with every shot, and you could see her confidence growing as went.
And for me, it was another moment of real progress. I could feel myself getting better behind the camera - noticing details, adjusting angles, trusting my instincts. Each shoot was teaching me something new, and this one was no different.
Little by little, it was all clicking into place.
